Woodrow Bell was born in Washington State. He retired from the Air Force after twenty years of service and now reads, writes, plays chess, and surfs the south shore of Oahu. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Carmen, and traveling as much as possible; their very energetic dogs, Nico and Khione; and their standoffish cats, Rain and Calais, who always have something better to do than pay attention to humans.
